Job description

  • To provide customer service by performing a wide variety of related duties including but not limited to receiving and resolving constituent complaints, provide information to constituents, members of the governing body and City staff regarding city services, projects, programs and other relevant issues.
  • Ability to assist and effectively engage the Public using a variety of tools including: Email, walk-in customer services, the primary City Information phone line agent and any other additional communication and engagement tools (ex: web chat function, Constituent Relationship Management System (CRM) web chat function, or other tools as identified).
  • Answers general questions about City Policy and Procedures
  • Documents, tracts, and monitors regular updates on Constituent Relation Management (CRM) work orders and maintains the database in a timely resolution.
  • Runs regular status reports on the Constituent Relation Management (CRM)
  • Works with Constituent and Council Services Department and City Departments to come up with new ways to provide information to the public.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Must have knowledge of Santa Fe, grammar and proofreading, time management, customer service principle, office practices, city service.
  • Skill in communicating with all level of staff within City department and members of governing body.
  • Must be able to use MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Access.
